Friends of the Merrimack Public Library
The Friends of the Merrimack Public Library (FMPL) is a group of volunteers interested in supporting, promoting, and enhancing the services provided by our town library. We are a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Member contributions are tax deductible and entitle you to attend exclusive pre-sale book sales throughout the membership term.
FMPL provides Merrimack residents with "Books for Babies" gifts, donations to local charities on behalf of those who collectively meet Summer Reading Challenge goals, furnishes Little Free Libraries in our Town parks, runs Book Sales, and sponsors an array of educational and entertaining events.
Our assistance to the library and the Merrimack community depends largely on annual membership dues. Your contribution of $10 or more makes you a member of FMPL. Once you are a member, you'll receive email updates to keep you informed of events and volunteer opportunities. Your membership entitles you to attend the Members-Only Pre-Sale prior to our Book Sales, voting privileges at Executive Board meetings, and the opportunity to run for an Officer position on the Friends Executive Board.
